Installation - Montaj
The architectural installation has been commissioned by the Swedish Institute Stockholm and the General Consulate of Sweden in Istanbul to promote the exhibition Woodlife Sweden and its locations in Istanbul and Ankara.
Totem has built by using the basic wood-frame structure and wood cladding. It exhibits both its frame and the cladding to give an insight into building with wood. It is a local addition to the 40 projects in the collection of the exhibition which are contemporary examples of designing with wood in Sweden.
The totem is placed in front of the General Consulate of Sweden in Istanbul on Istiklal Street, a busy pedestrian avenue that is one of the popular destinations in the city.
Woodlife Totem has elements of a non-realized design from 2018 and also aesthetics of Neighbourliness installation.
Mimari yerleştirme, İsveç Enstitüsü Stockholm ve İsveç İstanbul Başkonsolosluğu tarafından Woodlife İsveç sergisini ve serginin İstanbul ve Ankara'daki lokasyonlarını tanıtmak için sipariş edilmiştir. Totem, basit ahşap çerçeve ve ahşap kaplama kullanılarak inşa edilmiştir. Ahşap inşa yöntemine dair bir fikir vermek için hem çerçevesini hem de kaplamasını sergiler. Yerleştirme, İsveç'te ahşapla tasarımın çağdaş örneklerinden oluşan sergi koleksiyonundaki 40 projeye yerel bir ektir. Totem, şehrin popüler noktalarından biri olan yoğun yaya akışına sahip İstiklal Caddesi'ndeki İstanbul'daki İsveç Başkonsolosluğu'nun önüne yerleştirilmiştir.
Woodlife Totem 2018 yılından gerçekleştirilmemiş bir tasarımdan ögelere ve Komşuluk yerleştirmesinin estetiğine sahiptir.
