This work has been commissioned by the General Consulate of Sweden in Istanbul to adapt the Smart City exhibition toolkit for the outdoor conditions of Hatay Expo 2022.
The standard exhibition modules have been modified for the location to be durable against weather conditions. They are connected with a new detail to each other to create a wooden superstructure with solid stability and to provide shaded shelter for visitors. Wooden modules have been polished with water-based solutions and posters have been produced by using UV prints on canvases. All these unique adaptations of standard modules used by the Swedish Institute all around the world have been designed and applied for the first time for this exhibition.
All woodwork has been made by Caglar Ahsap in Izmir, Turkey.
NOBON, İstanbul İsveç Başkonsolosluğu tarafından, The Smart City sergisi el kitabındaki tarifin Hatay Expo 2022'nin dış mekan koşullarına uyarlamak üzere görevlendirilmiştir.
Modüller, sağlam stabiliteye sahip ahşap bir üst yapı oluşturmak ve ziyaretçilere gölgelik bir sığınak sunmak için birbirine yeni bir detayla bağlanır. Ahşap modüller su bazlı solüsyonlarla cilalanmış ve kumaş üzerine UV baskılar kullanılarak posterler üretilmiştir. İsveç Enstitüsü tarafından tüm dünyada kullanılan standart modüllerin tüm bu benzersiz uyarlamaları, ilk kez bu sergi için tasarlanmış ve uygulanmıştır.
Tüm ahşap işleri İzmir'deki Çağlar Ahşap tarafından yapılmıştır.
