H. Cenk Dereli’s work …may I call you the architect? is a cinematographic comment on the relationship between architectural and popular culture, presenting the rich-poor class dichotomy in popular Turkish movies, the legalistic differentiation of legal-illegal, and the conflicts between settled urbanites and newcomers using the posters he re-creates in terms of architecture and the city.
