A small reading room is designed for the Metropolitan Municipality of Izmir in a smaller town Buca in a small historical building at the Kasaplar Meydanı (Butchers' Square). Different from the conventional reading rooms, the interior provides a playful environment with seating areas as stairs and also reading tables as sitting areas in front of the tall windows that are facing the back garden. ​

In the garden, a timber seating area with various levels transforms the former neglected open area into a space for gatherings and leisure.

Buca ilçesi Kasaplar Meydanı'ndaki küçük tarihi bir bina içinde İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi için tasarlanmış küçük bir okuma odası. Sıradan okuma odalarından farklı olarak, iç mekan basamaklı oturma alanları ve bahçeye bakan büyük pencerelerin önünde oturma imkanı veren okuma masalarıyla oyunlu bir ortam sunar. Bahçede farklı yüksekliklerde oturma imkanı veren ahşap oturma alanı daha önce kendi haline bırakılmış hissi veren açık alanı bir toplanma ve dinlenme alanına dönüştürür.
