Memorial sqaure is one of the stops on a touristic tracking route. The aim of the project is to orientate the tourist visit by spatial design and supply their needs with function spaces. 
Whole area has been divided into two functional spaces; square in front of the mosque and space in front of the historic houses'. This area has historic houses as a boundary on one side that will be used as museum and a cafe, fountain and restroom as a boundary on the other. These spaces hasNon-historic
been attached to founders memorial with a thematic axis. buildings
has ben preserved and suggested to be refunctioned. Their facade has been covered with a wooden, continuous screen that reflects the characteristic of the local housing craftsmanship; to empower the central effect of the square.

Tarihi olmayan yapılar korunmuş, yeniden işlevlendirilmeleri önerilmiş, cepheleri yörenin ahşap cephe karakterini örnek alan, sürekli, ahşap bir paravan ile kaplanmış, mekanın merkezi hissi bu arka plan ile kuvvetlendirilmiştir.
Tüm alan kullanımsal olarak temelde, cami önü meydanı ve tarihi evler ön alanı olarak ikiye bölünmüştür. Bu alan bir taraftan müze fonksiyonu ile işlevlendirilecek tarihi evler ile sınırlanırken, diğer taraftan, kahve, şadırvan ve tuvalet işlevleri ile kullanımsal olarak zenginleştirilmiştir. Bu tüm alan, anıt ağaç, meydan anıtı ve kurucular anıtı ile kurulan tematik bir aks ile kurucular meydanına bağlanmıştır. 
Ordu, Kabakdağı köyü anıt meydanı, turizm amaçlı oluşturulmuş bir yürüyüş yolunun durak noktalarından biridir. Tasarımda amaç, turistlerin, tarihi evleri ve kurucu mezarlarını ziyaretlerini mekansal düzenlemelerle yönlendirmek ve ihtiyaçlarını karşılamalarına yönelik donatıları yaratmaktır.
