Speculative imaginaries workshop, ARKIMAGITON is an event for architecture students and focuses on themes such will allow the participants to explore ideas that can affect now and future.

 

ARKIMAGITON organised in Izmir Center of Architecture, October 2018 used two of the six thematic subtitles of the exhibition The Smart City, which was open in the same venue.

Architecture students used these two titles to create imaginaries on Izmir Kulturpark (one of the biggest public recreational areas in the city centre)  with the goal of creating equal spaces.

 

During the workshop, architecture students produced images, drawings and narratives in a collaborative environment.

 

ARKIMAGITON mimarlık öğrencilerine yönelik spekülatif hayaller kurma atölyesidir ve bugünü ve geleceği etkileyebilecek fikirler keşfetmeyi sağlayacak temalara odaklanır.

 

2018 yılının Ekim ayında İzmir Mimarlık Merkezi’nde düzenlenen ARKIMAGITON, aynı zamanda aynı mekanda ziyarete açık olan Smart Cities (Akıllı Kentler) sergisinin içeriğindeki sekiz alt başlıktan ikisini kendi tematik çerçevesi olarak kullandı.

Mimarlık öğrencileri bu iki başlığı EŞİTLİKÇİ MEKANLAR yaratma hedefiyle İzmir Kültürpark alanı için mimari hayaller geliştirmek için kullandı.

 

ARKIMAGITON etkinliği boyunca mimarlık öğrencileri kolektif bir ortamda görseller, çizimler ve metinler yarattı.
